MP1584 Switching Step Down Regulator IC

MP1584 Switching Step Down Regulator IC is a high frequency Switching Step Down Regulator with an integrated internal high side high voltage power MOSFET. It provides 3A output with current mode control for fast loop and easy compensation. It has wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 28 VDC. And the operational quiescent current stands at 100 µA, which allows use in battery powered applications.

The MP1584 Switching Step Down Regulator has a fixed switching frequency of 1.5 Mhz. So, it prevents the problem of EMI. And, also enables the use low ESR capacitor and small value inductors, which in turn reduces the size of device. Also, the life of end device is increased as it does not need low life Electrolytic Capacitors.
