The BT169D from NXP is a through hole planar passivated silicon controlled rectifier with sensitive gate in a SOT54 (TO-92) plastic package. This SCR is designed to be interfaced directly to microcontrollers, logic ICs and other low power gate trigger circuits. Typical applications of SCR are Ignition circuits, lighting ballasts, protection circuits.
- Planar passivated for voltage ruggedness and reliability
- Sensitive gate
- Direct triggering from low power gate circuits and logic ICs
- Average on state current of 500mA
- Maximum gate trigger current of 200µA
- Maximum gate trigger voltage of 800mV
- Holding current is 5mA
- Non repetitive peak on state current of 8A
- Repetitive peak off-state voltage of 400V
